UBS Wealth Management Americas Renames Its Retirement Plan Consulting Arm

In response to heightened demand for consulting services among retirement plan sponsors, UBS Wealth Management Americas has renamed its business in this field and has been tweaking its offering.
UBS Wealth Management Americas has changed the name of its retirement plan consulting business from DC Advisory Program to UBS Retirement Plan Consulting Services to “better reflect the company's service offering” and evolving regulatory landscape.
UBS acknowledged that retirement plans are increasingly seeking consulting services given regulatory changes including potential new DoL fiduciary rules (see here).
“As a result of plan sponsor demand for a consultant to help them manage their fiduciary responsibilities in this changing environment, our business is experiencing significant growth," said Gene Silverman, head of corporate retirement plans at UBS Wealth Management Americas.
UBS Retirement Plan Consulting Services clients include organizations of all sizes across a number of industries such as manufacturing, healthcare and professional services.
