UBS Makes UHNW-Focused Senior Hire

The appointee is divisional vice chair in global wealth management.
UBS has made a top-level appointment for its wealth management operations in North America, this publication has learned.
The banking group has named Jolyne Caruso-FitzGerald to be divisional vice chair in global wealth management, concentrating on its ultra-high net worth business in the US.
Most recently, Caruso-FitzGerald was chief executive of The Alberleen Group, an investment and merchant banking firm she founded in 2010. Prior to this, she was an MD and global head of absolute strategies at Lehman Brothers, where she also served on the firm's management committee. Before that, she co-founded Andor Capital Management, a hedge fund focused on technology, media, and telecom equity strategies. She also held leadership positions in the equities businesses of JP Morgan and Bear Stearns.
In her new role, Caruso-FitzGerald is based in New York City.
