UBS Asset Management Appoints APAC Fixed Income Boss
The asset management arm of Switzerland's UBS has added to its Asia-Pacific executive team.
UBS Asset Management has appointed Hayden Briscoe to the new role of head of fixed income, Asia-Pacific.
Briscoe joins from Alliance Bernstein, bringing over 24 years of fixed income and currency experience.
Based in Hong Kong, he will oversee all fixed income portfolio management and business activities in the region. He will report to John Dugenske, global head of fixed income at UBS Asset Management. He also joins the firm's asset management APAC executive committee.
“UBS Group has a strong presence and reputation in Asia and our asset management business has significant ambitions in key markets across the region,” said Dugenske.
“His [Briscoe's] experience in China complements our aim to be a global leader for China related investments, in both renminbi fixed income and equity offerings,” added Rene Buehlmann, the firm's head of asset management, Asia-Pacific.
UBS Asset Management has a presence in 22 countries. It serves institutions, wholesale intermediaries and wealth management clients around the world.
