Towers Watson Appoints MD For Risk Consulting, Software Role In Asia-Pacific

This publication brings news about moves in the Asia-Pacific wealth management industry.

Professional services firm Towers Watson has appointed Richard Collis as managing director, regional leader for risk consulting and software in the Asia-Pacific region.

Collis, who has 27 years of experience in the industry, is based in Hong Kong and reports to Michael Murphy, managing director and global leader, risk consulting and software.

Since starting his career in Australia, he has held senior Asia-Pacific-focused positions with global financial institutions. He relocated to Hong Kong from Sydney in 2007.

"His experience of leading large teams across multiple Asia-Pacific markets, and expertise in driving strategic business transformation will support Towers Watson’s pursuit of building and growing its insurance consulting and software business in Asia-Pacific,” Murphy said.

In March this year, Towers Watson appointed Sam Farrimond as Asia-Pacific deputy leader of its insurance management consultancy practice. Farrimond joined the business from Shoreline Asia, a consultancy firm he founded in 2009.
