The ESG Phenomenon: Franklin Templeton, GreenArc Capital

The latest developments in the ESG space.
Franklin Templeton, GreenArc Capital
GreenArc Capital, a Singapore-based fintech offering ESG impact
analytics, has become part of a Franklin
Templeton incubator.
The firm is the second startup to join the Franklin Templeton Singapore FinTech Incubator and was chosen from more than 100 applicants.
Besides its ESG analytics – a hot topic as investors seek clearer data to show whether sustainable money management ideas do what they say – GreenArc Capital also provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based reporting tool.
The incubator is a joint program for early-stage fintech startups in partnership with F10 Global Innovation Network Singapore Pte.
Through its accredited impact measurement solution, which uses artificial intelligence and big data, GreenArc Capital aims to standardise and make sustainability lending and investments more transparent.
“With the sustainable finance sector taking centre stage amongst investors, financial institutions, and regulators alike, our selection to the program by Franklin Templeton validates how important impact measurement is in bringing transparency and credibility to strengthen this market, particularly in the era of greenwashing,” Rony Palathinkal, CEO, GreenArc Capital, said.
