The firm has hired four new members, three based in Sydney and one based in Melbourne.

Global investment firm T Rowe Price has expanded its Australian distribution team.

T Rowe Price has appointed Ben Daly as institutional-focused relationship manager in Sydney, Richard Li as senior product manager based in Sydney, Lottie Ridley, who has relocated from London to Sydney, as relationship manager, and Shane Zabiegala as a relationship manager focusing on the Victorian and Tasmanian intermediary markets, based in Melbourne.

Daly, who is now institutional relationship manager for Australian and New Zealand within global investment services, has over 17 years’ experience working at large and boutique institutions including Goldman Sachs Asset Management and RARE Infrastructure, the firm said in a statement. 

Li, who is responsible for developing and managing T. Rowe Price’s suite of offerings in the Australian market, has 13 years’ experience in developing wealth management products for major institutions, including Blackrock.

Ridley has been with T Rowe Price since November 2015. Previously, she was with Impax Asset Management in a range of roles, working in client service, investment operations, reporting and performance and risk.

Zabiegala was previously a business development manager with NAB Asset Management for the past two years, working predominantly in the Melbourne market.

All hires are new roles purposely created to enhance team capacity, capability and reach, expanding the total local operation to 30 people.

In September, this publication reported that T Rowe Price had obtained authorisation for four fixed-income funds with Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
