Swiss Wealth Advisory Firm Widens Global Reach, Opens Singapore Business
The firm, dating its origins back to Switzerland in 1910, has been building out its presence in a number of jurisdictions, such as Luxembourg, Singapore and the US.
The Switzerland-headquartered wealth advisory firm Kendris has added three new locations: Singapore, New York and Singapore.
Kendris, which dates its origins to the Zurich-based Fides Treuhand Vereinigung of 1910, said it recently opened its first Asian business, Kendris Singapore Pte, in Singapore. A representative office for Kendris Trustees (USA) LLC has been formed in New York's Park Avenue, and a new office, Kendris Luxembourg Sàrl, has been established as a corporate service provider.
The New York office brings the firm’s total number of US locations to three, alongside existing offices in Sioux Falls and Miami.
Speaking about the Singapore office, Christian Lyk, the CEO, said: “Particularly, the Asian region is becoming increasingly important to us. Here – as well as at the two other new locations and our existing ones – it is essential to offer our clients' locally anchored access to our global network.”
In 1992, the old Fides Treuhand Vereinigung went into a management buyout and merged with KPMG Switzerland, creating KPMG Fides; in 2005 a management buyout from KPMG which created the Kendris brand.
