Swiss Bank Names Geneva-Based Saudi Arabia Country Head
UBS has appointed Steven Klemme as country team head for Saudi Arabia, joining from JP Morgan in Geneva, where he had worked for 15 years.
UBS has appointed Steven Klemme as country team head for Saudi Arabia, joining from JP Morgan in Geneva, where he had worked for 15 years, this publication has learned.
Prior to this, Klemme worked at Citibank for 14 years in Geneva and New York, again concentrating on Saudi Arabia, working predominantly in marketing financial services and private banking functions.
His role, a newly created one, is effective immediately.
Additionally, Klemme will take over from Christian Maytain as head of the UHNW Desk EP & Riyadh. Based in Geneva, he reports to Ali Janoudi. Anthony Zammar, desk head of the other Saudi teams, will now report directly to Klemme. Maytain retires in the summer of 2015.
