Sun Life Hong Kong Names New CEO, Makes Other Senior Appointments

This publication carries latest news of moves and hires in Asian wealth management.
Sun Life Hong Kong has appointed Fabien Jeudy as its new chief executive. It has also appointed Belinda Au as general manager, distribution and marketing, based in Hong Kong, and Belinda Luk as general manager for wealth and pensions in Hong Kong.
These appointments are newly created roles. However, there was formerly a CMO (Jeremy Young) who has now moved across to head up marketing at the firm's regional office. So SLHK have put the CMO responsibilities under Au's new remit.
Jeudy has over 27 years of experience across Sun Life’s businesses in Hong Kong, Canada, the US, Indonesia, the Philippines, India and Vietnam. Most recently, he was the regional chief operating officer for Sun Life Financial, where he provided business oversight for a number of the company’s functional areas and product development across its operations in Asia. The firm's operations include life and health insurance, wealth management and pensions.
In her new role, Au is responsible for overseeing the distribution of SLHK’s products across all distribution channels. Prior to this appointment, she had been SLHK’s chief distribution officer since April 2015, responsible for overseeing all sales channels, including agency and financial intermediaries.
Luk was previously senior vice president, pension and group business, holding that role from August 2008.
