Summary Of Senior Moves In Asia-Pacific Wealth Management – December 2025

While not the busiest of months for moves, a number of high-profile changes and appointments were announced in the final weeks of 2025.

M&G Investments appointed Tomoaki Murata as head of wholesale distribution and partnerships for Japan – a newly-formed role. Murata is based in Tokyo and reports to Manabu Fujita, who is head of M&G Investments Japan. Murata joined from PineBridge Investments Japan.

Coller Capital set up an office in Tokyo – its sixth Asia-Pacific location. Hisashi Tanaka joined as head of Japan private wealth in the company’s private wealth secondaries solutions team, reporting to Pak-Seng Lai, head of PWSS distribution for APAC. 

RBC Wealth Management in Asia appointed several senior private bankers across Hong Kong and Singapore. In Singapore, Cherry Wang was appointed as executive director, bringing over 15 years of private banking experience; Irene Chua was appointed as director at RBC WM; Jaime Huang was also appointed as executive director at RBC WM; and Mandy Khew was appointed as associate director. In Hong Kong, Arda Yan was appointed as executive director. David Lam, who was also appointed as director, joined from Bank of China International.

Citigroup appointed Minh Ngo as Citi country officer and banking head (CCOBH) for Vietnam as well as general director of the US bank’s Ho Chi Minh City Branch.

Indosuez Wealth Management made a series of hires:

Vicki Koh joined as senior insurance specialist, Asia, in Singapore, reporting to Brian Tan, head of structuring and insurance solutions, Asia. Diana Chiew joined the External Asset Manager desk in Singapore as a relationship manager, in the team of Shiladitya Choudhuri, market head for EAM and multi-family office business.

Joe Fang joined as senior relationship manager in Singapore. He was previously from Bank of East Asia, Singapore Branch. Tanny Ho joined as senior relationship manager in the North Asia team headed by Chua See Piu, based in Singapore. In Singapore, Lucas Yang, Leona Tan, and Terrence Yip joined the investment management team, reporting to Su Qian, head of investment management, Asia. 

Terrence Yip joined as senior portfolio manager; Leona Tan joined as senior portfolio manager, from her previous role as financial services advisor with HSBC; Lucas Yang was appointed portfolio manager and joined from RHB Asset Management.

Andrew Chan joined as senior fund specialist in Hong Kong. Chan reports locally to Timothy Tsang, head of advisory solutions Hong Kong and functionally to Su Qian, investment management head, Asia.  

Knight Frank launched a new private office in Australia, to operate with the support of its partners in Australia and New Zealand respectively, McGrath Estate Agents and Bayleys. Heading the new office is Ari Petrovs, partner.

T Rowe Price promoted Cassandra Crowe as head of institutional distribution for Australia and New Zealand, as well as head of consultant relations for Asia-Pacific. Crowe is based in Sydney.

Aberdeen Investments appointed Alan Koay, senior solutions director. Echo Yang, previously investment director of quantitative analytics on Aberdeen’s Asia-Pacific fixed income desk, took on a new role as senior solutions director in the strategic insurance group.
