StormHarbour, the global markets and financial advisory firm, has made four senior hires for its Hong Kong and Singapore offices.

In Hong Kong, the company brought in Aaron Tan as senior advisor, reporting directly to Water Cheung, the principal and Asia-Pacific chief executive. Tan was formerly the managing director and head of Hong Kong coverage, investment banking, and dept capital markets at Barclays Capital. In his new role, he will be mainly involved in advising on and originating real estate transactions.

Joining the Singapore office as managing directors are Jean-Christophe Levens, Marc-Antoine Thiriez, and Hugo Virag-Lappas. All three previously served as founding partners of infrastructure advisory firm Partners in Infrastructure. They report to Vincent Moge, principal and head of the Singapore office and Asia-Pacific sales.

"Asia-Pacific is a burgeoning market where there is strong investor demand for infrastructure developments and a trend among Governments in the region to increasingly look to privatise public utilities and core infrastructure assets. With these appointments, we are well positioned to capitalise on the risign demand and supply of such assets," Moge said in a statement.

Over the past months, StormHarbour has appointed more than 30 senior professionals to various key offices worldwide, taking its total headcount to over 180 staff. The company has also launched a broker-dealer subsidiary in Tokyo.
