Standard Chartered Private Bank Makes Senior Hire In London

Christopher Shaw has become the second senior fiduciary specialist at Standard Chartered Private in London, according to a spokesperson for the company.

Shaw joins from Société Générale Private Banking Hambros, where he spent six years, latterly as group head of international wealth planning.

SG Hambros recently lost its chief investment officer, Martin O’Hare, who was appointed as head of investment solutions at Signia Wealth last week.

Standard Chartered said in December that it is expecting to hire 2,000 people in coming months despite lowering its revenue forecasts for 2012.
