St James's Place Wealth Management Continues Asia Expansion

The firm established its presence in the region in 2014, and hopes to replicate its UK business in Asia.
St James’s Place Wealth Management has opened a new office in Raffles Place, Singapore, a sign that the US-listed firm is committed to expanding in the region, it says.
The new offices will provide capacity to build a stronger presence in the local market and continue to invest in its expatriate focused business, the firm said in a statement.
SJP first established its presence in Asia in 2014, and the Singapore branch has doubled in size during this time. The firm hopes to replicate its UK business in Asia.
“We believe St. James’s Place can play an important role in offering opportunities to develop aspiring wealth managers who want to operate at the highest levels of professionalism,” said David Bellamy, chief executive. “We look forward to working with the excellent talent in Singapore and in building our presence here as a leading wealth manager for both local and expatriate clients.”
