A large investment and wealth advisory firm based in the Asian city-state has added to its senior management.

Singapore-headquartered Professional Investment Advisory Services, or PIAS, has appointed Joseph Kwok as deputy general manager and head of product strategy. Kwok has worked in a number of roles at firms including UBS and JP Morgan.

Kwok has more than 15 years of experience within the wealth management industry. He has held senior management roles including executive director with JP Morgan Private Wealth Management; managing director/chief investment officer of Platinum Capital Management (Asia); director, advisory consultant, North Asia, UBS; and head of investments and advisory, wealth management with Standard Chartered Consumer Bank, Singapore.

Besides his full-time role with PIAS, Kwok will continue to be an independent non-executive director of three SGX main-board listed companies.

He has also recently been nominated as the honorary secretary of the Financial Planning Association of Singapore and, concurrently, is also the chairperson for the audit committee of the Singapore Gymnastics.

(This publication recently spoke to PIAS senior management and that interview will be published here shortly.)
