Singapore's PiSight Gives Clients Complete Financial Picture With New App

This publication carries latest news of product and service launches in Asian wealth management.

Singapore-based fintech firm PiSight has rolled out a “digital assistant” that pulls together a complete picture of a person’s financial affairs.

The offering is called PiMoney and after being launched as a web app is now available on Apple’s AppStore. An Android-based app is expected to be available soon.

PiMoney is powered by Aegis, a patented account aggregation technology produced by the firm eWise. The new app is free to use and no minimums in terms of deposits or assets under management are required for clients.

PiSight’s founders are Rajesh Singh and Abhishek Kumar; they previously worked at Barclays and Ernst & Young respectively in Singapore. They decided to bring out the platform because they saw a need for an efficient personal finance management platform to help people achieve their financial goals without compromising online security and data privacy, a statement from the firm said.

“PiMoney is one of the most comprehensive aggregation platforms available in Asia, offering aggregation of bank accounts, credit cards, loans and investments," Singh, who is chief executive of PiSight, said.

The platform has a “personal data vault” to store sensitive financial information on a user’s personal device, without login and passwords being shared in the cloud or with a third party.
