Singapore, New Zealand Bourses Join Hands

The agreement will open doors for more New Zealand-based companies to be listed on Singapore's stock exchange via dual or secondary listings.

Singapore and New Zealand’s stock exchanges have inked a new deal facilitating further cooperation in Asia-Pacific markets.

The bourses "aim to promote market development initiatives including the promotion of derivatives products, dual and secondary listings, exchange-traded funds and investor participation" and “share relevant information as required and partner on green finance and sustainability initiatives”, the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX) said in a statement earlier this week.
