Senior Departures At Schroders' Asia Business

The UK-listed wealth management firm has confirmed two senior exits in Asia.
Lily Choh, Schroders’ head of South Asia, is leaving the business after 17 years to pursue a new opportunity, this news service can confirm. Choh has been at Schroders since 2008, according to her Linkedin profile.
The UK-listed wealth management firm also confirmed that Szu Yi Chin, head of wealth, Asia-Pacific, is leaving the firm after more than two years.
As reported in June, Schroders appointed Gopi Mirchandani as head of client group for Asia. Subject to regulatory approval, Mirchandani will take on Choh’s responsibilities in the interim while a search for head of client group for Southeast Asia is underway.
Previously head of North Asia, Mirchandani succeeded Chris Durack, who is now chair of Asia, but will be departing on 31 December. Mirchandani reports to Matt Oomen, head of client group.
Jason Yu was appointed country head for Hong Kong.
