Saxo Bank Hires New Global Head Of Equity Products

Denmark headquartered Saxo Bank - the online multi-asset trading and investment firm -has appointed Alessandro Bressan global head of equity products.

Denmark-headquartered Saxo Bank, an online multi-asset trading and investment firm, has appointed Alessandro Bressan global head of equity products.

It marks a further step in the implementation of Saxo Bank’s "one bank, one platform" strategy aimed at building products across all main asset classes for both individual investors and its institutional client base.

He will be based in London where he will be responsible for UK sales covering European clients. He reports to Dennis Malamatinas, global head of regions and global marketing.

Bressan joins from Deutsche Bank where he was global head of dbIntegrate Sales, a front to back office solution for equity execution, settlement and custody.

Before that he spent almost eight years at Morgan Stanley where he worked on the equities electronic trading desk, covering clients trading equities, futures and options, as well as swaps.

It follows the appointment of Peter Plester, who joined Saxo Bank in April from Rabobank as head of FX prime broker services.
