Rothschild Hires Duo To Form New Client Advisor Team

Rothschild has appointed Charles Costa Duarte and Jake van Beever to its UK wealth management business, to create a new client advisor team, based in London.
Both Duarte and Beever join Rothschild from Lloyds TSB Private Bank, where they advised ultra high net worth clients.
Duarte, with more than ten years’ experience of working with UHNW clients, began his career at Citigroup Private Bank in 2001 and went on to join real estate firm Quinlan Private Capital in 2006. Duarte was one of the original team hired in 2009 to establish an UHNW private banking proposition for Lloyds TSB in the UK.
Beever began his career in 2008 at Bank of Scotland, where he served as a private client manager, after which he joined Lloyds TSB Private Bank in 2010.
Both men will report to Mark Kary, head of Rothschild’s UK wealth management business. Duarte will join Rothschild in September and Beever in June.
In other recent hires at the firm, earlier this month Rothschild Wealth Management appointed Tracy Collins as a director in its charities team, with effect from July.
Rothschild’s wealth management business currently has €15 billion (around $19 billion) in assets under management, and clients have an average of €5 million in investible assets.
At the start of this month, Rothschild won the award for best UK private bank UHNW team at the WealthBriefing European Awards 2013.
