Raffles Family Office Names New Chief People Officer

The Asian multi-family office says it has been growing "exponentially," not only across Greater China and Southeast Asia, but into new markets that demand a cohesive and future-ready leadership culture.
Raffles Family Office has appointed Caroline Langston (pictured) as its chief people officer, effective immediately. The newly-created role underscores the firm’s commitment to building a high-performance, people-first culture.
Langston has served as RFO’s executive coach for over five years, working with leaders across the firm to enhance collaboration, leadership, and wellbeing, the firm said in a statement. In her new capacity, she will oversee the firm’s people strategy, talent development, and cultural initiatives in all markets, including the Raffles Group Academy, an in-house platform designed to help every employee learn, reskill, and grow.
“We are growing exponentially. Not only across Greater China and Southeast Asia, but into new markets that demand a cohesive and future-ready leadership culture,” Chi Man Kwan, group chief executive officer, said. “Creating the chief people officer role is a deliberate step to ensure our people strategy scales with our growth.”
With more than two decades of international experience across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, she has served in senior roles in finance, consulting, and executive development, guiding transformation and leadership programmes that strengthen organisational performance and culture.
Langston, who holds a postgraduate qualification in neuroscience and the psychology of mental health from King’s College London, is pursuing a master of science degree in the same field. She will be based in Hong Kong, reporting directly to Chi Man.
“Having had the privilege of coaching our leaders through pivotal moments, I have seen firsthand how a purpose-driven culture fuels client trust and business growth,” Langston said. “In this new role, I am excited to work closely with the team to build the systems and environment that empower every colleague to thrive, connect deeply with clients, and grow their careers as part of a truly people-first family office.”
Raffles Family Office is dedicated to providing a suite of wealth management services tailored for ultra-high net worth individuals and families. With dual headquarters in Hong Kong and Singapore, RFO’s presence spans Asia’s gateway cities, including Bangkok, Beijing, Shanghai, and Taipei.
