Raffles Family Office Adds Senior Ex-UBS Figures In Hong Kong
The multi-family office, which has added to its team in the city, has seen a number of arrivals and appointments this year.
Raffles Family Office, the Asian multi-family office, has added two former UBS figures to its team; they are based in Hong Kong.
The organisation has brought in Barry Tse, managing director, relationship management, and Cherie Liu, head of marketing and communications.
Prior to RFO, Tse was an executive director at UBS, working in client advisory roles and, before that, he was a director at Julius Baer. His career also included roles at Macquarie Bank and Man Investments. Tse is a chartered financial analyst and chartered alternative investment analyst.
Liu has more than two decades’ experience in the private banking and investment services sector. Before her new job, she was executive director, marketing, global wealth management at UBS. Prior to that, she was also a director, Asia-Pacific, for the marketing and branding, wealth management arm of Credit Suisse.
The firm has dual headquarters in Hong Kong and Singapore, and its presence includes Shanghai, Taipei and Bangkok.
Among other changes, in October this year, RFO appointed senior LVMH figure Chris Chong as a board advisor.
In July, RFO appointed former RBC Wealth Management CEO for Asia, Terence Chow, as chief operating officer. This role marked the re-appointment of a dedicated COO position after Yvonne Siu’s departure in 2021. In late May, the organisation promoted its co-founder and partner, Kendrick Lee, to chief executive for Singapore.
