RBC Wealth Management Hires Russian Trust Director

RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada, has hired Valery Zaikin as a director in its Private Client Fiduciary Services team.  He joins from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he worked as a senior fiduciary specialist and wealth planner in the PwC CIS law offices in Moscow.

Zaikin will now be based in London with responsibility for business development for the PCFS business in the Eastern European market, with a particular focus on Russia, Kazakhstan and the Ukraine. He will report to Steve Sokić, PCFS director and head of business development.

“Diversifying our global geographic focus and increasing our penetration into emerging markets continues to be an important part of our growth strategy. Valery is perfectly placed to complement and extend our existing intermediary and client network, building on the work of our existing Eastern European-focused PCFS team based in Jersey,” Sokić said.
