Quilter Strengthens Dublin Office With New Hire

Quilter, the UK-based investment management firm which is part of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, has appointed John McElroy as investment manager for its Dublin team.

Mr McElroy joins from Goodbody Stockbrokers, where he spent ten years working as a portfolio manager, having previously held positions at Guinness & Mahon, Ulster Bank and Morgan Stanley. In his new role he will be working alongside Brien Weber, head of Quilter’s Dublin operations.

“He [Mr McElroy] has extensive private client portfolio management experience and his skills will strengthen our offering to clients in the region,” said Mr Weber.

In other recent hires, earlier this month Quilter appointed Richard Sneideris as an investment manager for its Manchester office.
