Quilter Selects Wealth Dynamix For Microsoft Implementation

Quilter, the UK wealth manager, has selected London-based CRM software firm Wealth Dynamix to deliver Microsoft Dynamics CRM as it moves to enhance its client management capabilities as part of its expansion efforts.

Wealth Dynamix has been assisting Quilter in the strategy, design and implementation of the system since the firm decided on Microsoft at the start of this year.

While competition for market share remains fierce in the UK following the shake-out caused by the financial crisis, margin pressures are also running high – meaning that many firms are making big technology investments in a bid to trim costs while also improving their communications with clients and data management.

The increased regulatory burden is also a concern in light of the forthcoming implementation of the UK regulator’s Retail Distribution Review package of reforms on 31 December. For example, as of next year firms will have to keep much more complex client records which take into account the various charging structures they will have to put in place once the Financial Services Authority’s ban on commission payments take effect.

Wealth Dynamix was set up by Gary Linieres, its chief executive. Linieres was one of the founders of Third Financial Software and has brought some of that firm’s technical staff over to his new venture.
