Quilter, part of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, has bolstered its 19-strong IFA sales team with the hire of three regional sales managers based in Birmingham, Liverpool and London.
Paul Ruscoe and Andrew Shirtcliff, who joined the firm yesterday, will work with the IFA communities in London and Liverpool respectively. Paul Cox will cover Birmingham when he joins later this month.
Ruscoe's latest employer was Carbon Footprint Investments, where he was the sales director. He has previously worked for Skandia UK, Legal & General, CGNU, Allied Dunbar's brokerage division, Scottish Mutual Assurance and Royal Life.
Shirtcliff latterly ran his own company, Park Lodge Financial Consulting, and before that was at MetLife, GE Life, Scottish Amicable International and Sun Alliance.
Cox is senior account manager at Scottish Widows and has previously worked for Merchant Investors Assurance, Scottish Provident UK, National Provident Institute, Old Mutual International (Provident Capitol) and London & Manchester Assurance.
In other news at the firm, at the start of this month Francis Clayton - latterly an investment director at Collins Stewart – was named an executive director at Quilter's Jersey office.
Quilter’s funds under management stood at £7.8 billion (about $12.7 billion) at the end of June this year. The firm has about 350 staff based across 12 offices in the UK, Jersey and Ireland.
