Private Bank Adds To International Clients Team In Hong Kong

An India-focused banker has joined ABN AMRO Private Bank in Hong Kong, this publication can report.

Rajeeev Ramanathan has joined the Netherlands-headquartered firm, having previously worked in the international NRI team at UBS. There had previously been a number of departures from the Swiss bank’s NRI team in Hong Kong.

In his current role, he is director, international clients, private banking international Hong Kong.

Prior to his time at UBS, Ramanathan worked from August 2007 to October 2008 at HSBC Private Bank (Suisse), and before that, at Coutts Bank Von Ernst.

According to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority website, Ramanathan joined ABN AMRO in July this year; his appointment had not been previously reported in the media.
