Pennsylvania Firm Names New Wealth Management President

Souderton, PA-based Univest Bank and Trust, a subsidiary of Univest Corporation of Pennsylvania, has appointed Kevin Norris as president of its wealth management division.

Souderton, PA-based Univest Bank and Trust, a subsidiary of Univest Corporation of Pennsylvania, has appointed Kevin Norris as president of its wealth management division.

Norris joined Univest earlier this year following the acquisition of Univest wealth management company Girard Partners and succeeds Kenneth Hochstetler, who announced his resignation in June to return to Indiana and lead Everence as president and chief executive.

Norris will remain president of Girard Partners and will oversee wealth advisory and planning services, as well as Univest municipal pension services, retirement plan services and trust services. He will also serve as president of Univest Investments. In a career spanning 37 years, he has worked at Beneficial Bank, BlackRock and Girard Partners.

Meanehile, Univest also promoted Joseph Blair to senior vice president and senior financial advisor, responsible for wealth advisory and planning services. In his new role, he will lead the team of six advisors.

Blair joined Univest in 2012 and has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.
