One Of AMP Capital's Most Senior Investment Leaders Set To Retire

The international investment house said one of its most senior figures is to retire, drawing a close to a 26-year career in the industry.
One of the most senior investment managers at Australia-headquartered AMP Capital, Ella Brown, is retiring from the company, drawing a close to a 26-year career that included four years at the firm.
Brown steps down in July 2015, AMP Capital said in a statement. At that point she will relocate from Sydney to London.
Joining the firm in 2011 as head of fundamental equities, Brown has been responsible for the management of the Australian fundamental equities, New Zealand equities, Asian equities, global listed infrastructure and global listed real estate capabilities in addition to broad responsibilities across all of AMP Capital’s global equities and fixed income division.
The firm said it is looking inside and outside its ranks for the vacated role, which will have responsibility for global listed infrastructure; global listed real estate; Australian fundamental equities; multi-strategy equities; environmental, social and governance strategies; and Asian equities.
The firm operates in four global locations and accounts for
over A$40 billion ($30.7 billion) in assets under management.
