Old Mutual International Names Business Development Head For Hong Kong

The firm is cranking up its business development operations in Hong Kong.

Old Mutual International, part of Old Mutual Wealth, has appointed former Friends Provident International senior manager Ivy Lee as head of business development for the Hong Kong domestic market. Lee is responsible for building the firm’s reach in the domestic advisor market.

At FPI, Lee was regional sales manager. She has almost 20 years of industry experience in the domestic market; previous employers include Sun Life, Prudential and HSBC. 

In her new role, she works alongside Fred Wong, head of distribution development for the Hong Kong domestic market, and reports to Mark Crystal, chief executive, Old Mutual International Hong Kong. 

Old Mutual Wealth oversees £119 billion ($147.4 billion) in customer investments (as at 30 September 2016). It is part of UK-listed Old Mutual.
