The new RIA has formed partnerships with various businesses in the US to outsource some solutions, it said.

JGP Wealth Management, a new registered investment advisors (RIA), will launch in Portland, Oregon, serving a “select group of affluent families” across the US, it announced yesterday.

The partners at JGP, which has chosen Fidelity to handle custodian services for client assets, have worked together for more than 24 years.

“As we explored the numerous options for serving clients, we realized that the independent RIA platform holds an advantage. This is an era of transparency, collaborative technology, vast investment options, and customized solutions. We concluded that nimble advisory teams... with best-in-class strategic partners provided the best approach for serving clients,” said Jeff Paustian, chief executive.
