New Star Property Fund Manager To Join Henderson

New Star property fund manager

Roger Dossett will be joining

Henderson following the firms' imminent merger. Mr Dossett will join the enlarged company’s 180-strong property team, leading the management of property funds when the acquisition of New Star Asset Management is completed.

“I believe that the acquisition of New Star by

Henderson is the ideal opportunity to stabilise and relaunch the IPF. The fund is already delivering a high tax efficient yield relative to current interest rates and its investments are well set for recovery.  However it needs the bigger, more stable platform that

Henderson offers,” said Stuart Webster, manager of the New Star International Property Fund and head of Global Property for New Star, who will not be moving with the fund to Henderson but will be retained as an advisor to the Fund.

Henderson property assets under management account for around 20 per cent of the firm’s total assets under management - approximately £10 billion ($14.8 billion).  The property team has over 180 dedicated members and a presence in
Henderson’s offices worldwide including the
UK,
Germany,
Italy,
Singapore and the

United States.
