WealthBriefing’s deputy editor, Tom Burroughes, has been promoted to editor.

Mr Burroughes joined WealthBriefing in March from UK-based weekly magazine The Business where he was wealth management editor. Previously he worked for news agency Reuters as funds correspondent.

WealthBriefing’s current editor, Stephen Harris, is moving across to the post of ClearView Financial Media group editorial director and will continue to take a direct interest in global wealth management issues.

Mr Burroughes will lead a team consisting of news reporter Nick Parmee in London, features editor Emma Rees and overseas correspondents Matthew Smith (New York), Osmond Plummer (Geneva) and Lachlan Colquhoun (Sydney).
