Neuberger Berman Adds To Asia-Pacific Team

Neuberger Berman the US-headquartered investment house, has appointed a senior advisor for the Asia-Pacific region.

Neuberger Berman the US-headquartered investment house, has appointed a senior advisor for the Asia-Pacific region.

Based in Hong Kong, the new hire, Clifford Chiu, who was previously partner member at KKR & Co overseeing the firm’s client business in Asia including Japan, joins with immediate effect.

Chiu previously served as managing director responsible for the Asian institutional business with JP Morgan in Hong Kong and Tokyo between 2002 and 2007. Earlier, he served as managing director, head of Hong Kong investment banking and co-head of Japan investment banking with Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney in Hong Kong, Tokyo and New York.

Neuberger Berman is an investment manager with a presence in 17 countries, managing $257 billion in client assets as of June 2014.
