Natixis IM Names Singapore Chief Executive

The international firm has appointed a former Franklin Templeton senior figure to be its Singapore CEO.

Natixis Investment Managers has appointed former Franklin Templeton figure Dora Seow as CEO for its business in Singapore, effective 10 October.

Seow will be based in Singapore and report to Fabrice Chemouny, head of Asia-Pacific, the firm said in a statement yesterday. Seow succeeds to Madeline Ho who left the firm to pursue other opportunities, a spokesperson later confirmed to WealthBriefingAsia when asked about the matter.

Seow's role will involve leading and accelerating development of Natixis IM and its affiliates in Southeast Asia.

The firm said it wants to boost its strengths in emerging market fixed income and in Asian equities.

At Franklin Templeton, Seow worked for more than 20 years in a variety of roles, most recently as country head for Singapore.

She holds a BSc in accounting and finance, from the Warwick Business School, part of the University of Warwick.
