National Australia Bank Appoints Greater China General Manager

National Australia Bank has appointed Ciquiang Lu as new general manager of greater China. He is based in Hong Kong and started his role at the beginning of March.
Lu has over 20 years of banking experience, most recently serving as senior country manager at Natixis. In this role, he was responsible for the bank’s China and Taiwan operations. He has also held senior roles with Société Générale, where he served most recently as chief operations officer, China.
“Ciqiang will be a welcome addition to our offering and will ensure we can meet the growing needs of our clients in the Greater China market,” said Peter Coad, NAB executive general manager for international branches.
Lu replaced Arun Nangia who has relocated back to Melbourne and retired from the bank. His last day with NAB was 29 February, and joined joined NAB in January 2010 as GM for Japan, taking on the latest role in July 2013.
National Australia Bank manages over A$945 billion ($7.2 billion) in assets.
