Morgan Stanley Relocates Fixed Income Head To Singapore

Morgan Stanley Investment Management has relocated Michael Nolan from New York to Singapore to take on the role of head of long only Asia Fixed Income.

Morgan Stanley Investment Management has relocated Michael Nolan from New York to Singapore to take on the role of head of long only Asia Fixed Income.

In his new job Nolan is responsible for expanding the bank's fixed income clients in the Asia.

Nolan joined Morgan Stanley in 1989 and moved to Investment Management in 2005 as co-founder of a group focused on quantitative investing where he spent five years before joining the long-only fixed income team.

“We welcome Michael’s appointment and his relocation to Singapore.  This move illustrates Morgan Stanley’s continued commitment to building the business across Asia, and confidence in Singapore as a gateway to Asian markets,” said Ronald Ong, chairman and chief executive of Southeast Asia.

Morgan Stanley Investment Management has $396 billion in assets under management.
