Former Morgan Stanley leading private client advisor Anne Marie Gagnon has left the US bank to join hedge fund Voyager Management.
Ms Gagnon, who led Morgan Stanley’s efforts to build a hedge fund platform for its private client network, will head Voyager’s New York office.
The former Morgan Stanley executive director also worked at JP Morgan as a portfolio manager responsible for developing products in the alternative investment area.
Voyager, founded 10 years ago by Christopher Knight and Lyle Poncher, manages funds with a global long/short equity focus.
The firm recently expanded its operations and opened offices in New York and Tokyo.
