Mirova has built its APAC presence from its hub in Singapore, and is now building a team in Australia.

Mirova, the sustainable investing affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, has established a dedicated private assets team within Natixis IM Australia to support the growth of its Energy Transition Infrastructure activities in Australia. 

The Sydney-based team will initially comprise three professionals: an investment director, an investment manager and an investment analyst.

Kim Nguyen is joining as investment director to lead the team. She was most recently executive director, investments at the NSW government's energy security corporation, and previously led Foresight Group's Australian business.

Mirova has built a presence in the region from its Asia-Pacific hub in Singapore, investing more than A$700 million ($501.87 million) across Australia and New Zealand.
