Scott Diamond has been hired as a vice president and senior advisor at Birmingham, MI- and New York-based Schechter Wealth, an independent investment advisory and life insurance firm.

Scott Diamond has been hired as a vice president and senior advisor at Birmingham, MI-headquartered-based Schechter Wealth, an independent investment advisory and life insurance firm. 

Based in Los Angeles, CA, Diamond will promote the firm's life insurance strategies to CPAs, attorneys, and personal advisors of high net worth individuals, families and business owners.

The firm also has an office in New York, which it launched in 2013.

Diamond latterly served as president of Roxbury Consultants, where he designed executive benefits programs. He also has significant experience working in the individual life insurance market, including traditional life products and private placement variable life contracts.

“His previous experience is an ideal dovetail since he has a great understanding of the tax issues high wage earners and high net worth families face,” said Jason Zimmerman, senior managing director.

Additional services provided by Schechter include wealth transfer, charitable planning, retirement planning, business succession planning and executive benefits.
