MetLife Australia announces an interim CEO while looking for a replacement to outgoing executive Marc Lieberman.

MetLife Australia, the Australian life insurance and retirement solutions firm, has named an interim chief executive officer in preparation for the departure of Marc Lieberman. 

Damien Green, currently the head of employee benefits in Asia, will take on this additional role until an official replacement is named. Green has earlier served as AIA's chief executive of group corporate solutions in Hong Kong, as well as CEO for AIA in Australia before assuming his present position at MetLife. He reports to Nirmala Menon, head of designated markets and health.

MetLife is an affiliate of global insurance, annuities and employee benefits firm MetLife, which serves 90 million clients.
