Maybank AM's Chief Executive Departs - Report

The chief executive of Maybank Asset Management has left the Malaysia-based firm, according to Asia Asset Management.

This news service has contact Maybank to establish whether Nor Azamin Salleh has left the business, and may update in due course. The AAM report said he had served as member of the board of directors for Maybank AM Group. The group serves ASEAN markets in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

Nor Azamin’s time at the firm dates back to 2013, when he was appointed as a non-independent non-executive director of Maybank Private Equity, the report said. Before this, he was executive director and CEO of AIIMAN (Asian Islamic Investment Management), a subsidiary of DBS Asset Management.
