Manx Financial Adds Wealth Management Expertise To Board

Manx Financial, the Isle of Man-based financial services group and wealth manager, has appointed Oliver Hare to its board as a non-executive director.

Hare, who is also a partner of Unicos Partnership in Singapore, is currently vice-chairman of Helvetica Wealth Management Partners in Geneva, which he founded in 2004. Before this he was managing director of Banque Piguet, also in Geneva, having previously been with UBS for 15 years.

Commenting on the appointment, Jim Mellon, Manx Financial’s chairman, placed particular emphasis on the benefit that Hare’s experience in international wealth management will bring to the firm.

The Manx Financial Group was formerly known as Conister Financial Group. It comprises four wholly-owned subsidiaries: Conister Bank, Conister Card Services, the advisory firm Edgewater Associates and ECF Asset Finance.
