Misys, the UK-headquartered financial software company, has appointed a new president and chief sales officer, Simon Paris.

Paris replaces Frank Brienzi, the former president and chief sales officer, Misys confirmed to this publication when asked about the appointment.

The firm, which serves 47 of the world’s 50 biggest banks, was founded in the UK in 1979. It also serves more than 90 asset managers and hedge funds.
