Maitland Appoints Head Of Corporate Clients

The global advisory and fund administration firm has appointed a partner from Deloitte to its corporate services arm.
Maitland has hired André Pottas as head of corporate clients.
Pottas joins from Deloitte where he was partner since 2003, most recently in its corporate finance division. There, he held a number of roles including corporate finance advisory leader for Africa and infrastructure and capital projects advisory leader for Africa.
He brings over 20 years of international experience covering financial services, debt origination, securitisation and project and infrastructure finance. Pottas has also served as chairman of the South African Securitisation Forum.
In the newly created role, Pottas will lead the firm's corporate client operations worldwide. He will be based in Cape Town.
Maitland, which was founded in Luxembourg almost 40 years ago, employs over 1000 people across 12 countries. It has over $280 billion in assets under administration, serving private, corporate and institutional clients.
