Lombard Odier Names Asia CEO As Limited Partner

The new limited partner joined the firm in 2014 from Societe Generale.

Private banking group Lombard Odier has appointed Vincent Magnenat as a limited partner at the firm, in addition to retaining his existing position as chief executive for Asia and Asia head of private banking, effective February 2018.

Magnenat will continue to focus on driving the business’ expanding footprint, partnerships and client development, the firm said in a statement.

He joined the group in 2014 as CEO of the Singapore office and Asia head of private banking.

Prior to joining Lombard Odier, he spent close to nine years at Société Générale as regional head of sales and marketing for private banking in Asia.

The firm said that this hire is part of its long-term growth plan to expand its operations in the Asia-Pacific region.

In October, this publication reported that Lombard Odier had appointed Lee Wong, to the role of head of family services, Asia.
