Lombard Odier IM Adds Funds To Novia Platforms

Lombard Odier Investment Management, part of Swiss private bank Lombard Odier, has furthered its reach through a platform partnership.

Lombard Odier Investment Management has made a selection of its mutual funds available through the Novia Financial and Novia Global platforms.

Novia Global went live in October last year as a multi-currency wealth management service, providing access to a range of funds and investment tools. The platform is available to advisors dealing in the international market, private banks, trust companies and their clients, as well as other types of professional investors. Novia Financial in the UK has over £4 billion ($5.3 billion) in assets under management.

The 17 Lombard Odier IM funds available through Novia Global include the LO Funds - Golden Age, which invests in equities globally that are expected to benefit as populations grow older, and the flagship LO Funds – Convertible Bond. Many of the funds are already available on Hargreaves Lansdown and Cofunds' investment platforms.

“Through a sustained period of negative interest rates, valuations in many traditional asset classes have been pushed higher and bond yields are at all-time lows. Lombard Odier IM’s mutual fund range seeks to provide investors with tangible solutions to market challenges following the financial crisis and the unprecedented actions of the central banks that followed,” Lombard Odier said in a statement.

The Novia Global platform offers over 1500 funds from 67 fund managers. In March, the platform launched a discretionary fund management service for its users.
