Lombard Odier Adds To Asia Teams

The Swiss private bank has unveiled a number of senior moves across the Asia-Pacific region.

Lombard Odier has made two senior appointments in Hong Kong and Singapore.

The Geneva-headquartered bank has appointed Alfred Low (pictured below) as Hong Kong CEO and head of North Asia markets for its private client franchise. The appointment takes effect on 1 September 2025. Separately, it has named Pei Pei Chern as senior relationship manager in Singapore as of 14 July.

Alfred Low

Low, who has more than 20 years of experience, joined from Indosuez Wealth Management, where he was managing director, head of North Asia markets and strategic partnerships. Prior to this, he served in various roles at HSBC, Credit Suisse and UBS. Low will be based in Singapore before relocating to Hong Kong in the coming months.

As part of his role, Low will report to Omar Shokur, regional head for Asia, private clients.

Based in Singapore, senior relationship manager Pei Pei Chern (pictured below) will report to Low. Her remit will include deepening long-term client relationships in the region, in particular, focusing on Taiwan.

Pei Pei Chern

Chern was most recently MD at Julius Baer, where she led the Greater China region. She has more than 25 years’ wealth management experience, including roles at UBS and Citibank.

These hires follow Andrea Meierhofer's (pictured below) appointment as Southeast Asia market head, private clients, in December 2024. Meierhofer, who was most recently MD and deputy market group head for Southeast Asia at Pictet, has also held various senior positions at UBS and LGT. He reports to Shokur.

In March, the Swiss bank said that Vincent Magnenat, group regional head of Asia and global head of strategic alliances, was moving to London from Singapore.
