Lombard International Adds Features To Online Service

The wealth solutions provider continues adding features to its online platform.

Lombard International Assurance, which provides wealth structuring solutions, has added new features to its online servicing platform, Connect. Partner and client requests can be automatically filled with policy-related data, making the online service faster and less of a chore to manage.

Connect was launched in January this year. It is designed to give online access to client data and information about transactions. Lombard International says it is one of the first specialised unit-linked life insurers to introduce such capability.

As part of the enhancements, partners can submit a range of documentation using electronic signatures, as well as track the progress of transactions and retrieve confirmation letters.

More upgrades and added functions will be available by the end of this year, the firm said in a statement.

The company, which is owned by US-based alternatives investment titan Blackstone, has embarked on a set of moves since it set off on a growth strategy two years ago. Earlier in September, it named Paul Upchurch as its chief operating officer for Europe, a newly-created position.
