Kinetic Partners, an advisor to the financial sector on issues such as regulatory changes around the world, has made two promotions in its Hong Kong team.

AnnMarie Croswell has been promoted to member and Katrina Banh to associate director within Kinetic Partners regulatory compliance team in the jurisdiction, the firm said in a statement yesterday.

The business set up a presence in Hong Kong two years ago and says it has seen “significant growth in the number of local clients asking for support around obtaining registration with authorities such as the Securities & Futures Commission, as well as asking for compliance advice.

“Demand from larger firms and investment banks for support with transaction monitoring and reporting and systems and controls reviews, following regulator focus on these areas, has also been increasing,” the firm said.

Launched in 2005, Kinetic Partners has a team of 140 people across its eight offices in London, Dublin, Grand Cayman, New York, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Luxembourg and the Channel Islands. It services more than 1,200 clients.
