JP Morgan Private Bank has appointed Bryan Crawford as a managing director and head of Private Client Advisory, a new joint venture group with the firm’s investment bank that will provide corporate finance advisory services to potential and existing clients of the private bank in the EMEA region.
Mr Crawford, who rejoins JP Morgan from HSBC, will be responsible for leading and growing the existing team of 10 investment banking specialists within JP Morgan Private Bank who provide corporate finance services to entrepreneurs and family owned businesses. He will be based in London.
The Private Client Advisory Group will also be responsible for leveraging the client referral and cross-marketing opportunities between the investment bank and private bank.
Mr Crawford previously worked for JP Morgan for 11 years, initially in various M&A roles and most recently as head of the firm’s technology investment banking group.
In his new role he will report to Emilio Saracho, head of JP Morgan Private Bank EMEA and Klaus Diederichs, head of Investment Banking EMEA.
